She tells him she actually came to take him to set, which BoJack thought he was on. She runs into Mr. Peanutbutter who compliments her haircut but leaves her to talk to Erica. In The Horny Unicorn, at VIM, Princess Carolyn and Judah are preparing BoJack for the interview and telling him what to say when Mr. Peanutbutter walks in and asks BoJack to mention Birthday Dad in his interview and to welcome him to the MBN Thursday night family. When Diane returns home later that night, Mr. Peanutbutter talks to Diane to apologize for his grand gestures and explains how much he loves her despite having different personalities. When Doctor Champ warns everybody that the event will be starting in five minutes, Mr. Peanutbutter encourages BoJack to hurry so they get good seats. Do They Know Things?? Gina begins to storm out, and tells BoJack to stay away from her, and get help, or not, because she doesn't care anymore. Pickles tells Mr. Peanutbutter that she still loves him and wants to marry him, but he cant do things that hurt her because its not okay, and Mr. Peanutbutter silently agrees by nodding his head. However, he specifies BoJack should bring it up only if the interview is going well. She was afraid so she wanted the security and sense of loyalty he provides. Diane says she isn't jealous either and leaves. He is then approached by Joey Pogo. BoJack doesn't have a costume so asks Princess Carolyn for help. Princess Carolyn, at first, assumes he needs a body buried; which initially shocks Mr. Peanutbutter. Unbeknownst to him, while Diane was talking to him she had just returned to LA and was at the airport, as she couldn't handle the realities of war-torn Cordovia or Sebastian's ego. Pickles agrees with Mrs. Captain Peanutbutters sentiments saying that every time she gets trapped in a conversation with Captain Peanutbutter she thinks if she was married to him she would "gnaw her hand off just to get the ring off her body." Mr. Peanutbutter says she didn't, and that he loves her and wants to know the real her. Mr. Peanutbutter assures her that she should drop it because if something was wrong his brother would tell him. BoJack suspects this is the direct result of Todd enacting revenge for BoJack's sabotage of Todd's rock opera. At the same time, she is contacted by the producers of the Secretariat film to be a character consultant, and she is stuck with choosing between the two options. He tells her they'll talk about this when she comes home. While sitting in a circle listening to Doug tell a story about lying, cheating, and stealing, Mr. Peanutbutter asks if Doug ever told his wife about the cheating. Todd is enthusiastic about the idea, due to being high on marijuana. Do They Know Things?? Diane refuses to do this, saying it isn't right that his ex-wife should explain to his girlfriend, that he cheated on her with his ex-wife. She tells him it's too much pressure to try to be as fun as his ex-wives, and she runs out of the house. He then puts it back in his pocket unopened. He angrily tells Mr. Peanutbutter to get a job. He first moved to Los Angeles in the late 80s or early 90s, where he ended up co-piloting the plane that brought him to California, which happened purely because he walked into a room without looking. In reality, he's actually on the Philbert set. Mr. Peanutbutter guesses time flies when you're having fun. He says the flooding ruined Julie Brown's new vintage dress she just bought and ruined the big finale of the show where her puppet plays Beethoven's fifth on the bongos. This somehow works, and he ends up working at a Lady FootLocker until he is approached by Princess Carolyn gets him a job for author J.D. Mr. Peanutbutter tells her other than being away from her he is having the time of his life being depressed. Diane then says if they met each other as the people they are things would be totally different between them. However, it's caused some problems, because they're starting to rate drivers on how attractive they are. Mr. Peanutbutter later calls Diane, who is in Ojai with BoJack, very early in the morning. When Diane tries to tell Mr. Peanutbutter and wonders if it's about her abortion, Mr. Peanutbutter assures her Captain Peanutbutter is probably just joking around with her. Pickles then says that can only happen if she also sleeps with someone else. Pickles tells Mr. Peanutbutter that just because he feels bad it doesnt make it okay. However, Mr. Peanutbutter accidentally says that he still has feelings for Diane. While their relationship seemed to be going well at the start, it soon took on a rather toxic dynamic and Diane realized her marriage to Mr. Peanutbutter wasn't meeting her expectations. She goes through a brutal divorce with Mr. Peanutbutter, a loving relationship the audience has to watch slowly unravel from season 1 to season 5. The reporters then bring their attention back to Sarah Lynn and BoJack's relationship with her and whether it was inappropriate. Mr. Peanutbutter calls Diane, and, still acting as if Diane is in Cordovia, he tells her he can't find the batteries for the remote, and that he should come home and help him. She runs into BoJack, and the two are tense around each other now due to the submarine scene Diane wrote for BoJack in the previous episode. Diane tries to bring up Captain Peanutbutter again when she's in bed with Mr. Peanutbutter, telling him he should talk to his brother because something is going on with him. Unfortunately, the rhino doesn't get mad at Mr. Peanutbutter, but thanks him for getting him to stop smoking. After the play, Pickles livestreams her reaction saying that the play had so many dysfunctional relationships, and Mr. Peanutbutter noticeably gets nervous when Pickles says that shes glad that they dont have a relationship like that. After BoJack is done filming for the day he asks Mr. Peanutbutter if he wants to get dinner. However, Mr. Peanutbutter doesn't actually know how to ski, so Katrina sends him to ski school. After doing so, it is revealed it was Captain Peanutbutter calling, and he announces his surgery was a success. Soon, the hatred that the cast and crew held for Mr. Peanutbutter quickly turns into pity. She says she asked one thing from him, and he never listens. Diane, deep down, is against Mr. Peanutbutter running for Governor, but she still shows support because she knows he won't get enough backers. Everyone leaves as Princess Carolyn says that the party is over. Mr. Peanutbutter intended to get another "D" but the unveiling reveals it's a "B," turning Hollywoo into "Hollywoob.". Joey then reveals himself to be hanging by a clothes hanger inside the hotel room closet, giving Mr. Peanutbutter an idea. Later, Pickles and Joey finish having sex in the meat locker. BoJack then asks what about breakfast and Mr. Peanutbutter tells him they don't have time for that and BoJack can feed him on the way. The next morning BoJack wakes up to Mr. Peanutbutter cooking breakfast. He proposes to Diane, and she accepts. He also tells Mr. Peanutbutter his strangling doesn't look real enough. Later that night, Diane and Mr. Peanutbutter toast to their accomplishments, while sitting together in their living room. Mr. Peanutbutter storms off during the commercial break, unsure as to whether he should forgive BoJack. Mr. Peanutbutter tells him he'll be fine and he questions what BoJack thinks will happen at the wedding. When Pickles reasons that she should tell her friend Ilana about Mr. Peanutbutter cheating on her, Mr. Peanutbutter begs her not to tell the Ilanas and Pickles tells Mr. Peanutbutter that shes going to tell everybody because shes a Gemini. Following the phone call, Mr. Peanutbutter immediately contacts Princess Carolyn, in seek of assistance. She started out as fun and cheerful and they were happily married. In between takes, Mr. Peanutbutter remarks how much fun they are having filming together. They hear a knock on the door, and Mr. Peanutbutter goes to answer, hoping it's pizza. Mr. Peanutbutter is shocked that she learned all this from talking to Tim Allen for ten minutes, but Katrina angrily says he left her alone for an hour and a half. Mr. Peanutbutter starts to say they should set a date for the wedding but he is interrupted by Pickles telling him about the job opportunity with Joey Pogo. Diane and Mr. Peanutbutter are at the hospital, where Diane's wrist has been put in a cast. Mr. Peanutbutter tells her that it just looks like he did, and they have to re-edit the scene. Mr. Peanutbutter reveals that he and Todd are already inside the house.
