Spears has volunteered locally as part of the Service Project Day at Prestonwood Christian, during which students work at food pantries, retirement facilities and mens and womens shelters, among other locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Chicoine racked up 440 kills, 196 digs and 20 aces while being named Indiana Gatorade Player of the Year, MaxPreps All-American and Journal & Courier Player of the Year.
